By promoting equality, inclusion, and social justice, the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Village and Community Councils help to build stronger and more cohesive communities, and contribute to the broader goal of national integration.
These initiatives include providing training and development opportunities for council members and staff, as well as organizing workshops and providing access to resources to support community-led initiatives.
The TTAVCC builds strong partnerships by actively engaging with other community groups and organizations, seeking out opportunities for collaboration, and maintaining open lines of communication with local authorities and other government agencies.
Our desire to foster stable and sustainable communities require a massive focus and emphasis on youth activity and participation. The energy, attention and concerns of our young people can be positively channeled through several of our council programmes.
